Training and graduate update

Graduate Update
It has been a busy year for us at The Clink Charity but we are pleased to announce that over the last nine months we have released a total of 42 graduates from across our three training restaurants, into employment.
In each restaurant, up to 26 prisoners train at a time, covering the kitchen and front of house service. Prisoners who are part of the training scheme spend between six and 18 months working and training. Clink […]

The Clink heads north for the latest prisoner training project

On 1st September 2014, building started at our fifth prisoner training facility – The Clink Restaurant at HMP Styal in Cheshire. The building will see the disused St Andrew’s Chapel, located outside the prison walls, become the first Clink Restaurant to offer our training scheme to women prisoners, making its opening a real milestone for the charity’s growth.

The Clink Charity and Her Majesty’s Prison Service (HMPS) have confirmed there will be a fourth prisoner training restaurant, The Clink Restaurant at HMP Styal in Cheshire. It will open its doors in 2015.
