In a global celebration of French cuisine, 50 UK restaurants, including The Clink Restaurant at HMP Brixton, will be supporting Goût de France /(Good France) with an exclusive French menu for one day only.
Now in its third consecutive year, Good France will gather more than 2,000 chefs across five continents to celebrate French gastronomy and we are delighted to be involved again this year.
Menus created by participating restaurants honour the merits of French cuisine, its capacity for innovation, and its values of sharing, enjoying and respecting the principles of high-quality, environmentally responsible cuisine.
Taking place at The Clink Restaurant at HMP Brixton on Tuesday 21 March 2017, 12-2pm, the three-course menu will highlight the merits of French cuisine, its capacity for innovation and its values of sharing, enjoying and respecting high-quality, environmentally responsible food. Celebrated French chef and Michelin star holder Pascal Aussignac will be working with the prisoners training and working at The Clink Restaurant to educate them on classic French ingredients and techniques while helping them to prepare and serve the lunch.
