The Clink partners up with M&J Seafood’s

The Clink has recently appointed M&J seafood as their official seafood supplier. M&J Seafood are fresh fish specialists and are totally committed to responsible sourcing and only source the best seafood from around the world. Their dedicated approach to sustainable fishing goes hand in hand with The Clink’s devotion to the environment.


Turning Timber into Planters

Alongside all of the fantastic work being done to make The Clink more environmentally responsive other projects are also running in the prison to benefit the local wildlife and the local community.
In conjunction with Barnardos children’s charity the workshops have been turning old timber into planters and garden furniture for schools. For Surrey Wildlife Trust the prisoners have been making dormouse boxes and have been aiding the Conservation Trust by repairing broken tools and donating them to local schools.



Since becoming a member of the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA) The Clink has been focusing, more than ever, on being more ecological and environmentally friendly. So far this year great steps have been taken towards this goal with our four poly tunnels being used within the prison grounds for this year’s vegetable and salad crops. BBC at The Clink

Over the past four months the BBC have been filming throughout HMP High Down and The Clink for an observational documentary. The one hour programme will show how day to day life runs in the prison and the process prisoners go through during their rehabilitation. They are planning for the documentary to be shown on BBC One. We will advise you of the date as soon as we hear.


The Clink Merchandise

Our new Clink mugs and Clink aprons are now in stock and both retail for £14.95.
This week the Clink chefs are making our first batch of balsamic and onion marmalade relish and also fruit jam.
Look out for our summer produce and christmas puds later in the year.


Al Crisci shortlisted for Cost Sector Catering Award
