The Clink Charity’s sole aim is to reduce reoffending rates of ex-offenders. We work in partnership with Her Majesty’s Prison Service to run projects that train and give practical skills to prisoners to aid their rehabilitation. The Clink Restaurants allow prisoners to learn, engage with the public and take their first steps towards a new life.
A unique dining experience – food is cooked and served by the prisoners in training who are working towards City & Guilds NVQs in Hospitality & Catering and Customer Service. Most of our restaurants are located within prison walls.BOOK A TABLE >
A delicious, high quality meal – every dish is cooked on the premises using the latest techniques and fresh, often home-grown ingredients. Everything is made from scratch; from our bread and pastry to ice cream and desserts.VIEW MENUS >
A change in perception – many people who visit The Clink Restaurants comment that they feel touched by their experience and that their interaction with the prisoners alters any preconceptions they may have had about them or about rehabilitation.MORE ON THE CHARITY >
