The Clink Charity continues to support Clink Graduates in the community, thanks to your generous donations.

The Clink Charity is helping provide essentials for Clink Graduates affected by the pandemic through the very generous donations and grants received in recent weeks. Thank you. Our Clink Support Workers have shared some of the Graduates stories with us to highlight the continued need our Graduates face in the weeks and months ahead.

One Clink Graduate wasn’t able to pay the rent in full and facing the possibility of eviction if they couldn’t pay, we stepped in to top up the rent payment. We also provided supermarket vouchers to make sure the Graduate had enough to eat for the next few weeks.

“Thank you so much for the voucher and helping me top up the rent payment. I don’t know where I would be without support from The Clink. I’d have nothing and wouldn’t know what to do or where else to go for help.” Clink Graduate, Brixton

Serving up for staff at HMP Brixton

To support the amazing work staff the HMPPS staff at HMP Brixton continue to do during the crisis, we have re-opened our kitchens to sell takeaway staff meals under our new Clink & Collect service. Simon, our Brixton general manager is supported by 6 of our students in training to help create delicious dishes for these hard-working staff. We are also producing ready-made meals at cost for the staff to take home and heat up in order to save them cooking after a busy day. We’ve discovered that sticky toffee pudding is a firm favourite!

Delicious ways to support The Clink

Together with the launch of our 10 Year cookbook, we have a range of Clink recipe books to inspire every home cook. In the range are Quick & Easy, Vegetables and Desserts. You can order each book for £10 or all three for £25 plus delivery from our online shop.

Featuring contributions from Clink ambassadors, Lady Edwina Grosvenor, Daniel Ayton and The Clink trustees, training team and staff, you’ll find wonderful recipes to try. Visit our online shop here to find out more! All proceeds from the sale of Clink items go towards our work.

Donating to our Clink Graduate Emergency Fund

If you’d like to support the Clink with a donation, you can donate here through Just Giving. We’ll continue to share the success stories from the Clink Graduates we can support with your help.

Thank you
We would like to thank you for supporting The Clink Charity and its work – your generosity means we can continue to change attitudes, transform lives and importantly ensure those second chances are there now and in the future. Thank you.
